I have to share this story, because I thought it was just hilarious! And anyone who knows Sage or Weston well enough will find it just as funny as I did.
Last night I was doing a Scentsy party so I was not home. So Weston was left to help the kids with their homework. So I come home and there Weston was sitting on the couch with a calculator by the side of him. I didn't really think much of it but here is how the conversation went.
Me: What was you doing with the calculator?
Weston: Sage came in -handed me the calculator and said dad I need help with my math and you'll probably need this.
Me: She has never handed me a calculator to help her. So you need a calculator to help with 2nd grade math simple addition and subtraction(laughing so hard I could hardly talk)
Weston: Well, Sage seems to think I do!
I could totally hear Sage with her little mother hen voice...as serious as could be.
Here is another Mother Hen Sage story:
She tells me about this little boy that has been sad & crying everyday at after school program so she told him that everyday he doesn't cry she will bring him candy. So for over 2 weeks now she has been taking him a little piece of candy so he won't be sad.

About Me

- Weston and I have been married for 12 years (holy crap). We met in high school when I sold him a horse and I like to tease him that the only reason I married him was to get my horse back. Weston is my best friend and he is such a great dad. He is a hard worker and always does whatever it takes to take care of our family. We have lived in California for 3 1/2 years now and we love it. We love our place and our jobs and know it was the best decision we have ever made for our family. Weston enjoys roping and spends the weekends and any spare time at my dads helping him, riding, and roping. I still enjoy riding especially with my kids, scrapbooking in my sparetime (which is never), and being a mom to the most wonderful kids in the world. I am so happy to be close to my dad again. He is my hero and I admire him so much!
Chantz
Chantz is in the 5th grade this year and he is my little (not so little anymore) partner. He loves to rope and spends alot of time at Gramps house riding with him. He has been featured in many western magazines and calendars including Western Horseman and this year the cover of Eclectic Horseman. He thinks that is pretty neat. He is a natural when it comes to horses and he makes me so proud. He has had a great year winning Californios, 2 buckles at the Masten Ramsey horse show, Klamath Falls ranch roping, and Intermediate Roping at The Fiesta. He also loves sports...he is definatley and outdoors kid and has a tendancy to get a little bored in the winter when it is too cold to play outside. He has a huge heart and takes such good care of his mom and little sister. I don't know what I would do without him.

Sage
Sage is in the 3rd grade this year. She is our little smarty. She is at the top of her class and loves school. She is way too smart for her own good most of the time. She loves singing and there is rarely a time when she is not singing something. She won 3rd place a "Modoc Idol" this year and also sang the national anthem at The Fiesta Ranch Roping and at The Californio's Roping in April. She also loves to ride her horse and spend time with her Gramps. She loves soccer and she is pretty good at it too. She is such a sweet girl and keeps us entertained all the time. She is really good at keeping me up on the school gossip with who is doing what and who is mad at who (wonder where she gets that from, I have no idea..lol).
She is a great little helper and she loves her big brother! I can't imagine my life without her.
