Chantz's Magazine Cover

I am the proudest mom in the world. Chantz has been in quite a few magazines including Western Horseman, but this is his first cover. He is such a great little horseman and is so lucky to learn form the best...his gramps!

Sage's Christmas Singing Program

Sage had her little Christmas program and after I went to her classroom party. They made homemade marshmellow and homemade hot cocoa mix. Wow...those marshmellow were delicous. She is so dang cute with her little poses...she cracks me up.

Melton the Warm Hearted Snowman

Chantz was Melton in the Christmas Play this year. He did such a great job. I am so proud of him. The play was really cute...it is only for 4th and 5th graders that want to participate. So they go after school 2 days a week to practice. Chantz really loves it...he was so excited when he got the part of Melton..they had to try out for their parts and you would have thought that it was Christmas in August when he got he part. All of the kids put in alot of work and the music teacher is so great. I am glad that he likes to participate in this kid of stuff. Weston was saying that is it so funny how Chantz can wear so many different hats: he loves sports, and of course roping, and now this. We couldn't be more proud. He is such a great kid.
Chantz is the one with the carrot nose.

We were laughing so hard when he would have to walk, because is whole costume would kind of sway...it was hilarious!
Cute Kylee the doctor checking his heart.
Sage couldn't wait to hug hime in that costume.

Birthday Girl

Decorating the tree
Sage and Graycee

Sage's cute cake.

On Sunday my baby girl turned 9. We had quite the busy day. I got to spend some quality time with Sage and my little niece Graycee. Sage and I made cupcakes for her to take her class on Monday. Then the festivities began. Dinner, presents, cake, and of course the tradition of decorating the tree and making a gingerbread house on Sage's birthday continued. I was exhausted! All in all I think she had a great day!

Halloween 2009

Halloween was more like Christmas at our house this year. Grandma Kasea surprised the kids and came to visit for the weekend. They were soooo excited. I don't think that Sage let her out of her sight for the whole weekend. They carved pumpkins, made candy, went trick or treating, played games, and a million other things. It was so good to have her here.
Carving Pumkins...sage hates getting the guts out she says it is so disgusting!

Sage at Cheer Camp

Sage went to a week long cheer camp that the cheerleaders were putting on. Then she got to cheer at the football game and perform a dance at half time. She had so much fun....and she was adorable!

Frightmares at Lagoon

While we were visiting my sisters we also went to Frightmares at Lagoon. We haven't been to Lagoon for years so it was fun. Sage hated the haunted houses and I think Chantz did think to highly of them, but we did have a good time.

Sage Singing the Star Spangled Banner

I am so proud of Sage she was asked to sing the Star Spangled Banner in celebration of the writing of the song at her school. So this morning she sang it by the flag in front of the whole school and she did a fabulous job. Now if I could just figure out how to download the video to my computer so you could all hear it that would be great. So here are a few pics. Click on this link to hear her singing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMeOXFQbyXE

Sunday Baking

Sage and I were on a baking/cooking kick yesterday. We made cookies, zucchini bread, zucchini/chocolate chip muffins, & chicken salad for sandwiches this week. Evidently Sage thought that zucchini was cucumbers. Sometimes I wonder about that girl. We had a fun time and our boys were pretty excited when they got home from roping to have some treats!

School's Back in Session

School started today and the kids were pretty excited.
This is Sage and her 3rd grade teacher Miss Ward. Who is a friend of mine and Sage was so excited to be in her class.
This is as close I got to getting a picture of Chantz at school. I guess it's just not cool to have your mom taking pictures of you in the classroom when your in 5th grade!

Outside of our house on the first day of the 2009-2010 school year. Chantz is starting 5th grade and Sage is starting 3rd grade. Where does the time go???

St. George Visit

We went to St. George to visit family and friends and we had such a great time. We also had a baby shower for Megan (Daren's wife). So they came up from New Mexico and we were so glad to see them. We also had a BBQ with the other Albrecht's Brandon and Michelle and their girls. The kids had a blast playing in the pool it was a great time.

Albrecht kids! Thanks Brandon, Michelle, and girls for such a fun day!

They LOVED the slide and this rocker lounge!

This is the diaper cake I made for the shower. I told them that since they won't find out they are going to get every thing "duck" from me.

Sage and Gus (Owen and Brooke's little boy)

Sage, Grandma Kasea, Misty, and I went to see the play Annie at Tuachan. Sage has always loved the movie of Annie so this was extra special to her. We had a great time.
