Albrecht Family Christmas Party

Watching O1 playing the drums on Rock Band was the Highlight of our New Years Eve!

Sage loved her Star from Grandma Kasea

Mother Hen Sage and Gus

The Sisters
Weston made us pose in front of the tree...I really hate my picture being taken.

Uncle John and Uncle Brandon were the girls jungle gym.

Weston and O1 being real happy to get their picture taken.

Cute little girls: Aspen, Sage, and Dallee Jo

We were able to make it to the family Christmas party this year. We went from New Mexico to St. George (another LONG drive) and spent a couple of days at Grandma Kasea's new house. It was good to see everyone...it had been quite awhile since we had seen them. Those darn kids just keep growing even when you don't see them!!! We missed having Daren and his family there, but at least we got to spend some time with them in New Mexico.

New Mexico Trip

Cute Kids Cuddling with baby Kash and Uncle Daren
The kids had so much fun driving Lil Bit.

Chantz trimmed Lil Bits feet and he did a pretty good job too.

We had a really good time visting Daren, Megan, and their new baby Kash in New Mexico during Christmas vacation. It was a REALLY long drive, but I am so glad we went. We enjoyed good food, horse races, and the company. The kids could have stayed there and played with Lil Bit everyday if I would have let them.

Christmas Eve PJ's

This year we had a pretty quiet Christmas Day. The kids woke us up about 5 am and we opened presents and had breakfast. The kids were super excited about their gifta and we spent most of the moring downloading songs to thier ipods. Then we decided we would start our trip to New Mexico a day early so we headed out of town about 3pm and drove to Beatty Nevada where Weston is working right now.

Chantz's Magazine Cover

I am the proudest mom in the world. Chantz has been in quite a few magazines including Western Horseman, but this is his first cover. He is such a great little horseman and is so lucky to learn form the best...his gramps!

Sage's Christmas Singing Program

Sage had her little Christmas program and after I went to her classroom party. They made homemade marshmellow and homemade hot cocoa mix. Wow...those marshmellow were delicous. She is so dang cute with her little poses...she cracks me up.

Melton the Warm Hearted Snowman

Chantz was Melton in the Christmas Play this year. He did such a great job. I am so proud of him. The play was really cute...it is only for 4th and 5th graders that want to participate. So they go after school 2 days a week to practice. Chantz really loves it...he was so excited when he got the part of Melton..they had to try out for their parts and you would have thought that it was Christmas in August when he got he part. All of the kids put in alot of work and the music teacher is so great. I am glad that he likes to participate in this kid of stuff. Weston was saying that is it so funny how Chantz can wear so many different hats: he loves sports, and of course roping, and now this. We couldn't be more proud. He is such a great kid.
Chantz is the one with the carrot nose.

We were laughing so hard when he would have to walk, because is whole costume would kind of sway...it was hilarious!
Cute Kylee the doctor checking his heart.
Sage couldn't wait to hug hime in that costume.

Birthday Girl

Decorating the tree
Sage and Graycee

Sage's cute cake.

On Sunday my baby girl turned 9. We had quite the busy day. I got to spend some quality time with Sage and my little niece Graycee. Sage and I made cupcakes for her to take her class on Monday. Then the festivities began. Dinner, presents, cake, and of course the tradition of decorating the tree and making a gingerbread house on Sage's birthday continued. I was exhausted! All in all I think she had a great day!
